Give me your recommendation in reducing recoil in my Remington1110. People have been saying this shotgun has little to no kickback, but not what I was expecting. Maybe a recoil pad will help me?

Huh? Have you even used your gun?  The gun is known for its gas operated action to reduce such recoil. Stick to your .38 special ..sergeantsteel

The pad that came equipped with the gun is good! It is gel like which is just right for me. If that one doesn't work for you then maybe install a new pad friend. I will say though that gun is pretty darn smooth.

It's a shame the 1110 aren't mass-produced anymore. As for a modern gun, the SX4 is an excellent gas-operated model. While there aren't many aftermarket options, I currently have no need to modify the stock parts.

@ronaldduck The SX4 feels so good on the hands. A very light gun that points easy.

@firestorm3625412458965, I used that same setup last season without any problems, but this time, the gun STUNK. Despite cleaning it thoroughly every night before heading out, the gun kept misfiring and wouldn’t cycle properly when I was out in the swamps. After checking it over, the firing pin seemed to be getting stuck, and there was noticeable wear on the action that caused it to misfeed rounds. The chamber wasn’t fully ejecting the shells, haven't had gun for long, it just went down on me.
