I just ordered the Afterburner Ramjet after seeing all the positive feedback and reading more about it on various forums. Everyone's been raving about the recoil reduction and how well it performs for such a compact setup. I'm excited to try it out and see how it enhances my Glock 19.
I am guessing it is available for Glock 17 holster compatibility?
This Afterburner + Ramjet combo is designed for the G19 but extends the slide length to match a G17, so it should fit most G17 holsters. That said, there definitely are combo kits made specifically for the G17 as well
A friend of mine recently assembled his setup, and everything seemed to fit perfectly. However, when he went to shoot, there was a noticeable impact shift to the right. It was significant enough that he missed a C-zone steel target at 25-30 yards. I told him it was user error, but he was sure it was the barrel. He tested it against another factory barrel. Setting up at 10 yards, he used a different G19 with the original barrel, and it shot flawlessly, with the shots landing exactly where he aimed. He now has a hatred for the Ramjet barrel.
