6.5 Grendel vs. .223

Let's talk differences between 6.5 Grendel and .223 Remington. What're your opinions and which do you prefer for medium to long range shooting/hunting.

Honestly... I'm torn at times between the two, but here’s how I break it down in my head:
I love the 6.5 Grendel for its flat trajectory and long-range performance, especially when shooting beyond 300 yards. The extra punch and accuracy really do the most when stretching out targets. But for good ole backyard plinking or when I'm just dialing in fundamentals, .223 wins hands down. It’s reliable, affordable, feeds super clean, and I don’t worry as much about cupping up my chamber with fouling.
So for serious range work or hunting farther out, I lean Grendel. For cheap, fun, low-stress days at the range, it’s hard to beat the .223.
