It is often a bit scary to show up to your first match, but I challenge you to show up with a good holster, a few extra magazines, 200 rounds of ammunition and be open minded. Let the match director know you are new. You will have a blast I’m certain! Sometimes you get disqualified for safety violations and that’s OK too. It’s all about learning annd having fun safely. The cost of entry is usually $15-$40 for a single day weekend or weeknight match.
I shoot various firearms for the different disciplines, but my preference is JP rifles, custom belt, pistols, and a Benelli M2 shotgun. I get my ammunition from Target Sports USA.
